Moving into Undergraduate University Apartments
Move-In Fall 2021

We are so excited to welcome students to the University Apartments for the 2021-2022 academic year! Please review information and protocols below for a smooth move-in process.
Move-in will take place Monday, September 13 through Saturday, September 18, 2021.
Move-in will be an entirely masked event, so please prepare to wear your mask both in and out doors while moving in. We ask that all students and guests remain masked while in the room, until all guests have left.
Students will be given a COVID-19 test kit upon arrival. The test must be completed and returned within 4 hours. Students can drop off their completed tests at the satellite check in stations, or if after hours they can drop them off at any residential hall front desk or Ashe student center. Students will complete a second test 5-7 days after their move-in date. Students can get test kits from their front desk or the vending machines on-campus. They should complete it same day and return to any front desk or the Ashe Center.
Students and guests are not required to show proof of vaccine or negative test results upon arrival.
All students must upload their vaccine confirmation or approved exemption to the Ashe patient portal by September 9, 2021. Failure to upload will result in the cancellation of a student’s contract and they will not be permitted to move-in.
Students who have previously indicated they need to receive the vaccine upon arrival will be emailed prior to move-in with instructions, which will include any additional testing and sequestration they will need to complete.
Arrival, Unloading, and Parking
Students will be assigned and notified of where to check-in via their move-in portal. After students go to their check in station, they will be directed where to park and unload.
