The Boulevard Apartments

UCLA Housing, in a joint venture with UCLA Medical, purchased The Boulevard in 2020. The 5-building apartment complex is located on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Los Angeles. The complex features a contemporary modern style with ground floor retail in the larger buildings. Housing offers will be prioritized first to UCLA Medical's House Staff (medical residents, fellows, and interns), followed by medical graduate students, and then all other graduate students. 

First Year (New) House Staff Application Process

Respective departments provide Housing Administration with a list of all new incoming House Staff in May, at which point accounts are created which will enable access to the housing application. If you are not able to access the application by June please contact housing services. We recommend reviewing the Housing Timelines while navigating the rest of the housing site.

Applicants with Dependents

If you will be residing with a dependent under the age of 18, please refer to our Housing for Students with Families website. For those with dependents over the age of 18, please see information on Additional Tenants.

Please do not bring the following items as they are not allowed in the apartments:

  • Barbecues
  • Waterbeds
  • Loft kits to raise the beds
  • Any pets or other animals. "Service Animals" are accommodated

Attention UCLA House Staff: Please be reminded that pursuant to Article 12 of the UCLA-CIR/SEIU Agreement, moving into University Housing (including The Boulevard, University Village family housing, or any UCLA owned and operated property) will result in the discontinuation of the housing stipend.


The Boulevard apartment complex consists of five buildings and is in West Los Angeles on Santa Monica Boulevard between Granville Avenue and Westgate Avenue.
