Dining Location

UCLA Dining offers a variety of dining options for students, faculty, staff and guests. At this time, due to labor shortages and to ensure the most gracious dining experience, we have limited facilities available and only servicing our residential community with meal plans. We anticipate opening more outlets as opportunities for proper staff levels arise. We currently have three all-you-care-to-eat residential restaurants conveniently located in Carnesale Commons, Covel Commons and De Neve Plaza. You may also choose from our quick-service restaurants, which include Bruin Bowl, Bruin Cafe, Rendezvous, The Study at Hedrick and The Drey. Residential Restaurants

Providing our residential students with a quality dining experience is of utmost importance. As we work to mitigate current staffing shortages, which are being felt deeply across the hospitality industry, and provide safe and efficient service with limited guest capacity levels, we have implemented the following strategies:

  •  Service is restricted to those who live in our on-campus residence halls
  •  Outside guests will not be accommodated (including guests of Premier meal plan holders)
  •  Payment must be made via the residential meal plan
  •  No cash, meal ticket, credit card, or EasyPay payments will be accepted.

These policies apply to each of our residential dining halls and quick-serve restaurants on the Hill.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and hope that you understand that this approach is required for us to quickly and expertly meet the food-service demands of the roughly 15,000 UCLA students who are residing on our campus.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to expanding service once we are able to do so.
